"Do you know of a replacement battery for a Mallory RM 450 battery? I have a Bolex P1 Regular 8 film camera and that is what it "used to" take.

This is a common request from Bolex users. Some Alpa SLRs used this size, too, but it didn't see much use elsewhere.

No one makes a RM450 anymore, anywhere. It is a 1.35v mercury battery. The best choice is to use a battery the same diameter and a stack of hardware store washers to make up the difference in height. There are two choices: the 1.35v zinc air Z675PX and the 1.5v Silver Oxide S76. I do not know if using a 1.5v battery in the Bolex will cause exposure error, but my choice would be to try that battery and shoot some test footage.
