Yashica Electro 35 owners! I have your battery....
This is an Alkaline replacement for the PX32, which is no longer manufactured.
If you want to use your Yashica, this battery is essential!

Fits these Yashicas: Electro AX, Electro 35GL, Electro GSN, Electro GTN, Electro 35GT, Electro 35FC, Electro 35, Electro 35G, Electro 35GS, MG-1

The A32PX is the proper replacement for many Yashica rangefinders. To determine if it is the battery you need, check the fit of some common batteries in the camera; the A32PX is about as long as a AAA battery, but a bit thicker than a AA battery. If that sounds like your camera, the A32PX is battery you need.

Question: I'm confused. The battery in my camera says "640" on the bottom; which number do I need?

Answer: The A32PX is made of a welded stack of four A640 cells. The 640 stamp on the bottom is the stamp on the bottom most cell. The A32PX is about as tall as a AAA call.

Question: What about the voltage? The original was 5.6v, will the higher voltage of a 6.0v battery cause problems?

Answer: We have sold thousands of these to satisfied users. It seems that cameras that use these batteries are not fussy about voltage.
